Prospect Heights holds annual block party

The Prospect Heights Park District held its annual Block Party Saturday evening, featuring family music and entertainment. The festival kicked off with the Regional Teen Battle of the Bands at 5 p.m. And two bands provided live music later in the evening, the Brass Buckle Band and Exit 147.

Other events included a pet pageant, a voice singing competition, the chance to play on children's inflatables, a free swim and a duck race.
