Give a Pint, Get a Pint blood drive at Culver's

Culver's of Rosemont, 7050 Mannheim Rd., is joining forces with LifeSource, Chicagoland's Blood Center, for a "Give a Pint, Get a Pint" summer blood drive on Friday, July 3, 11:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. All participating donors will receive a complimentary pint of Culver's famous frozen custard. In addition, participating donors who schedule appointments will also receive a $5 Culver's gift card.

"Blood donations are typically at their lowest levels during the summer months, and that also happens to be when there is a great need for blood," says Chuck Martin, Culver's of Rosemont owner. "Through the efforts of Chicagoland Culver's restaurants, we are happy to help collect pints of blood that will support lives this summer."

Potential blood donors can schedule their appointment inside their local Culver's or visit www.lifesource.org to schedule an appointment and to see rules, times and locations of the nearest Culver's blood drive event.

In preparation for their donation, donors are asked to eat well, stay hydrated and arrive with proper identification. Blood donors must be at least 17 years old (or 16 years old with parental consent).
