'Music in the Gallery' ends with folk group

The Norris' first season of "Music in the Gallery" concludes with a concert by the up-and-coming Ask Your Folks, who will perform at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 28, in the gallery of Dellora A. Norris Cultural Arts Center, 1040 Dunham Road, St. Charles.

Tickets are $15 or $10 for children younger than 12.

This Chicago-based Appalachian bluegrass and funk trio features guitar, fiddle and string bass players who began performing together during their freshman year at DePaul University.

In 2013, they started playing together as Ask Your Folks. Trained in a variety of styles, each member has brought aspects of favorite genres to the group, resulting in a blend of bluegrass, jazz, Appalachian folk and funk.

Seating is limited to 150, so call early for tickets at (630) 584-7200 or visit www.norrisculturalarts.com.
