The 3rd Annual Good Vibrations Motorcycle Run for the Oasis Grayslake

The 3rd Annual Good Vibrations Motorcycle Run benefiting the Grayslake Youth Center NFP, Inc/The Oasis will take place on June 28, 2015.

To start the day off at 8:00, a breakfast will be provided by the Lions Club of Grayslake consisting of sausage, biscuits and gravy and will be held at The Oasis, 151 Hawley Street in Grayslake. The daylong traveling event will begin at 9:00 with stops at the Rusty Nail, Hemmingway's and KC's Cabin before returning to The Oasis for a BBQ dinner catered by BBQ'd Productions of Grayslake and The Vine of Grayslake. The evening will have live music provided by Turbulence, a local band, and awards and prizes for Best Tattoo, Rattiest Paint, Craziest Tattoo and more! There will also be a silent auction available during the BBQ.

VIP packages can be purchase for $90 per person. Included in the VIP package is Breakfast, Lunch, BBQ, 1 Free Drink Ticket at the BBQ Party, 2 Sets of Beads for Heads & Tails Game, 1 Extra Raffle Ticket for Cash Prize & a T-Shirt.

Registration begins at 8 am at The Oasis for people who do not pre-register and tickets are $35 and $25 for driver and passenger. First bike out is at 9. BBQ begins at 3 pm and tickets can be purchased for the BBQ separately if desired. This is a rain or shine event.

The oasis objective is to provide a safe, interesting and comfortable environment for people ages 12 to 18 to go to relax, mingle and have fun. Activities and amenities consist of study areas with homework help, movie areas (with a large screen TV), music areas, conversation areas, a snack bar, a stage for bands or small theater productions, a food preparation area consisting of refrigeration units and microwaves, and contests for rock band/guitar hero/ and karaoke nights.
