Scientific sources back climate claims

In response to a letter by Charles E. Glomski on May 27, he was right about one thing. I should have provided sources to back up my statements. I'm sorry for that but I'll provide them now.

The rising global temperatures for the years 2013 and 2014 were provide by NOAA and NASA. They were also reported by Tom Skilling on channels 2 and 9, and the weather channel.

Scientists are alarmed by the rapid rate of ice loss in Greenland. Eric Rignot, a scientist at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory has measured a doubling in ice loss from Greenland over the past decade. He said, and I quote "We see things today that five years ago would have seemed completely impossible, extravagant, exaggerated."

Glacier National Park in Montana is a prime example of climate change. A century ago there were a 150 glaciers. Glacier National Park has 27 glaciers left. In about 25 years they'll be gone. Source: Dan Fagre scientist for the U.S. Geological Survey.

I could provide a lot more examples and references but space does not permit that.

I don't like global warming anymore than you do. Rush Limbaugh once said global warming is a liberal hoax. My reply to that is, yep, but they sure have some great special effects.
