Learn CPR at Oakton Community College

Learn lifesaving techniques by enrolling in an adult education class offered by Oakton Community College. CPR Rescue (HEA E05-31) covers adult, child, and infant CPR, as well as mouth-to-mouth, the Heimlich maneuver, and two-person CPR. The course is Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, and Department of Children and Family Services compliant. Disposable mannequin practice shields are included for safety. The session is from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, at Oakton's Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf Road.
