Join 'Online Genealogy for the Absolute Beginner'

The Kane County Genealogical Society will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 18, in the first-floor meeting room of the Geneva History Center, 113 S. Third St.

Lisa A. Alzo will present a live webinar from New York.

The topic is "Online Genealogy for the Absolute Beginner."

Alzo is a freelance writer, instructor, and internationally recognized lecturer, specializing in Slovak/Eastern European genealogical research, writing your family history, and using the Internet to trace female and immigrant ancestors. She is the author of nine books and hundreds of magazine articles. An avid genealogist for more than 24 years, Alzo also chronicles her family history adventures on her blog, The Accidental Genealogist. See www.lisaalzo.com for more information.
