• Chrissy M. Talbert, 47, of the 1300 block of Brook Street, St. Charles, was charged with aggravated driving under the influence, DUI with a blood alcohol concentration of .08 or greater, driving while license suspended, and illegal transportation of alcohol after a traffic stop at 8:05 p.m. Sunday on the 400 block of Redington Avenue near South Elgin, according to a sheriff's report. A breath test showed Talbert to have a blood alcohol content of .263, and authorities found a plastic sports drink bottle filled with vodka in her vehicle.

• Francisco Helguera, 47, of the 25000 block of Round Barn Road, Plainfield, was charged with DUI, DUI with a blood alcohol concentration of .08 or greater, driving while license revoked, failure to reduce speed and no insurance after he crashed into a ditch at about 7:55 p.m. Tuesday on Burr Road, south of Woodgate Road, near St. Charles, according to a sheriff's report. He failed a field sobriety test and a breath test showed a BAC of .174.
