College of Lake County Summer Session office hours
The College of Lake County will be closed on Fridays during Summer Session, starting on Friday, June 12 and continuing through Friday, Aug. 7.
During Summer Session, June 8 to Aug. 7, office hours vary by department, but most student services offices and the Cashier's Office are open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The Cashier's Office hours for Summer Session are 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
Grayslake construction causes office relocations
Because of construction of the Science and Engineering Building and remodeling of the B Wing, a temporary student services center, where students can get help with applying and registering for classes, is available in Room C125 through June 18.
Starting June 8, the Main Lobby (first and second floors) and the adjacent courtyard will be closed, with alternate routes provided around the closed-off areas. Financial Aid and the Counseling, Advising and Transfer Center, currently located on the first floor of the B Wing, will move to the E Building on June 18.
Effective June 22, Enrollment Services (Admissions, Records, Financial Aid, Center for International Education) and Advising, Counseling and Transfer offices will be located in Building E (former home of Job Center of Lake County), located north of the D Wing and adjacent to Building 4 (Adult Education). Career Services and Job Placement are currently housed in E Building and will remain there until summer 2016. The offices of Student Life and Activities are scheduled to move from the B Wing to the T Wing in August.
The Information Desk has relocated from the Main Lobby to the Connecting Link, which is between the D Wing and the James Lumber Center for the Performing Arts. Directions, campus maps and PACE bus schedules are available at the Information Desk.

Bookstore hours for the start of Summer Session:
Grayslake: Open Monday through Thursday, 7:45 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday, June 6 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Lakeshore Campus in Waukegan: Open Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, June 6 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Southlake Campus in Vernon Hills: Open Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday, June 6 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The bookstores will be closed for inventory on the following days: Grayslake (Monday, June 29 and Tuesday, June 30); Lakeshore (closing at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 25; closed Monday, June 29 and Tuesday, June 30); Southlake (closing at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 25; closed Monday, June 29 and Tuesday, June 30).
