Register for camps, preschool with Geneva parks

Friendship Station Preschool:

Registration is currently available for four-year-old Friendship Station Preschool. Classes for 4-year-olds are 12:30 to 3 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday beginning Aug. 24. There is a $50 deposit due at time of registration. Children must be 4 years old on or before Sept. 1 to attend the program.

Friendship Station Preschool is a joint program of Geneva Park District and Geneva Unit District 304. This inclusion program staffed by park district and school district employees is guided by the philosophy of learning through play.

Safari Camp:

Spots are available for Geneva Park District Safari Camp for kids, ages 3 to 5, at Friendship Station Preschool. Safari Camp has numerous fun activities for your child this summer. At Safari Camp your child will meet new friends, play games, sing songs, make crafts and cool off with water games. All children must be potty trained.

Choose morning camp from 9 a.m. to noon or afternoon camp from 1 to 4 p.m. Weekly camp sessions run June 8 to July 31. Sin up per week. The fee is $65 for Geneva Park District residents and $85 for nonresidents per week.

New Leadership Camp:

It is for youth entering ninth and 10th grades June 8-Aug. 7 at Stephen D. Persinger Recreation Center, 3507 Kaneville Road, Geneva. Attendees must register for each weekly session. There are nine weekly sessions of Leadership Camp throughout the summer, with the first weekly session beginning June 8. Make the best of your time away from school. Join this summer and learn the skills it takes to become a good leader. Participants will be given fun volunteer opportunities and learn valuable information from guest speakers. Camp Hours 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Fee is $130 for Geneva Park District residents and $150 for nonresidents per week. Extended hours are not available for this camp.
