'Beers to You!' to benefit Palatine Township Senior Center

The "Beers to You!" beer tasting fundraiser will be from 5:30-8 p.m. Thursday, June 4, at Drink Nightclub, 871 E. Algonquin Road, Schaumburg, to benefit the Palatine Township Senior Center.

This is a 21 and over event. Tickets are $20 each or $18 for five or more and includes 5 3.5 oz. beer tastings, pizza, and door prize ticket. If you don't like beer, you can have one of the following: a glass of house wine, a soda or bottled water. America's Best DJs will supply the music.

50/50 raffle tickets are available for $2 each, three for $5, 10 for $10 or 25 for $20 in advance or at the event; winners need not be present. Raffle baskets are also available for the same price per ticket at the event.

Some raffle prizes include a Chicago Blackhawks limited edition signature series hockey stick autographed by Denis Savard, two tickets to see Tony Orlando at The Arcada Theatre, beer baskets filled with craft beers and merchandise, movie night basket donated by Splinters Sports Pub, Race Way Car Wash and Detail gift certificates, and more. Tickets can be purchased at the Palatine Township Senior Center or online at www.ptscc.org.

PTSCC provides programs and services that support older adults and their families by encouraging independence, well-being and connection to the community. The Recreation, Education, Health and Wellness, Noon Dining, Home Delivered Meals, Adult Day Care, and Social Services programs are available to persons 50 and older and their families who live in Palatine Township and the surrounding communities in the North and Northwest suburbs.

Services are available in English, Spanish and Russian at five satellite locations. The Social Services staff also makes home visits, as needed.
