Citizens for Conservation offers class on native fish

Children can learn about the native fish of Illinois and other creatures living in local water systems through a seining class hosted this month by Citizens for Conservation.

The class is scheduled to take place from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, June 13, at CFC Headquarters, 459 W. Route 22 in Lake Barrington. The program is open to children age 6 and above. Parents are required to attend.

Registration forms can be found at citizensforconservation.org. CFC members are free; nonmembers pay $5 for first child and $1 for each additional child. For more class information call (847) 382-SAVE (7283).
