COD Board Honors Phi Theta Kappa Chapter

College of DuPage Chairman Kathy Hamilton congratulates Paolo Mazza and fellow members of the College's Phi Theta Kappa Chapter at a recent Board of Trustees meeting. Students, under the direction of Speech Communications Professor Steve Schroeder earned numerous awards at the recent Phi Theta Kappa International Convention recently held in San Antonio, Texas. The College's PTK Chapter was named a Top 100 Chapter among the more than 3,500 in the Society and received the Distinguished Honors in Action Project Award and Distinguished Theme Award - Honors in Action. Additionally, the COD Chapter received a $500 award for its winning Honors Case Study Challenge entry, "Mental Health: America's Forgotten Frontier."
