Devereux tossed a complete-game 1 hitter, striking out eight and allowing 4 walks.
Tyler Damasky went 3-for-3 with a double, and Mike Piotrowski also had a double for the Knights (27-7).
The big inning for Prospect was the fifth, as consecutive singles drove in 3 runs.
Prospect meets the winner of Thursday's Warren/Fremd matchup in Saturday's regional final.
Willowbrook 1, Hoffman Estates 0: The Hawks bowed out of the postseason despite a strong showing in the Wheaton North regional.
Ryan Davalos struck out six and allowed 5 hits as Willowbrook scored its lone run in the bottom of the fifth inning.
Dylan Bloom had a double for the Hawks (15-4), and Marc Gonzalez had a single, but that's all Warriors starter Cameron Zunkel allowed.
Glenbrook North 4, Palatine 3 (9 inn.): The Pirates fell, but not before extending the top seed in the Stevenson sectional to extra innings in a regional semifinal hosted by the Pirates.
Senior Nick Orlando had a 3-for-4 effort, including a triple and 1 RBI for Palatine (15-20), and Andrew Breytenbach had 2 hits.
David Burnside hit a 2-run homer for Glenbrook North in the third inning.
Palatine senior Chris Macahon, announced as the Pirates' male athlete of the year on Wednesday, finished 1-for-4 with a run scored. Girls water polo standout Caroline Wojtas earned Palatine's female athlete of the year honor.
Glenbard North 10, Rolling Meadows 0 (5 inn.): The No. 4 seed and DuPage Valley champs eliminated the Mustangs in regional play at Geneva.
Eric Orze started for the Panthers and kept Meadows hitless through 4 innings with 4 strikeouts.
Sean O'Brien had the hit for the Mustangs (6-27), a double in the fifth inning.
Maine West 6, Lake Zurich 1: The host Warriors tuned up for a Thursday regional date against Elk Grove at Oak Park-River Forest by handling the Bears, thanks in part to a 3-for-3 effort from leadoff man Jake Riportella.
Tommy Hanson tossed 3⅓ scoreless innings, and Rob Yost picked up a win in relief for Maine West (17-14). Sean Russell and Crosley Duckmann had 2 hits apiece and Riportella, who scored three times, had a double.
