Lions Soccer Club to hold open tryouts

Lions Soccer Club, a youth travel program on the far west side of Elgin, will hold open tryouts on Monday, June 1 and Thursday, June 4.

Interested players should plan to attend one or both of the open tryouts. Tryouts will be held at our home fields at Plato Park, 40W400 Stonecrest Drive in Plato Center from 5 to 7 p.m. both nights.

Founded on the principles of effort, attitude and excellence, Lions SC incorporates excellent soccer training and character development that is based on traditional Christian principles. The club is favored for its affordable pricing, player development, Biblical values and excellent coaches all in a positive, fun and family-friendly environment.

Lions SC is currently accepting boys for the U-8 to U-15 teams and girls for the U-10, U-13 and U-14 teams for the fall 2015 and spring 2016 seasons.

They also are hiring experienced, licensed, like-minded coaches for the upcoming seasons. Visit the website at www.LionsSoccerClub.com for additional information.
