AOIIs Honored Members and Greeted Newcomers in Barrington

On May 13 in the Barrington home of Paula Hoerner, 23 AOII alums gathered to enjoy the annual pot luck dinner. Helping were co-hostesses Nancy Brown of Deer Park and Stephanie Feldmann of Inverness.

They were also celebrating the anniversaries of a few alums, based on when they were initiated into Alpha Omicron Pi in college. Those were (back row, l. to r.): 25 years - Christie Warren of Park Ridge, Vicky Platt of Rolling Meadows, Nancy Brown of Deer Park. The other three were (front row, l. to r.): 50 years - Pat Juza of Arlington Heights, Judy Zawacke, also of Arlington Heights, and 60 years - Diane Pellettiere of Palatine. Each received a red rose, the flower of AOII, and the 25 and 50-year members received a special pin.

Any AOII alum who's new to the chapter is welcome to join us. Coming up is a dinner at the Mago Grill in Arlington Heights on June 17. On July 11 there's a day trip to Milwaukee on July 11, highlighted by a visit to the Pabst Mansion.
