AMA meeting to convene in Chicago June 6
The American Medical Association will gather physician and medical student leaders from all corners of medicine at its annual meeting in Chicago to shape the health care agenda of the national physician organization.
The annual meeting features the AMA House of Delegates, the policy-making body at the center of American medicine, which brings together physicians, medical students and residents representing every state and medical specialty. Delegates will work in a democratic process to create a national physician consensus on emerging issues in public health, science, ethics, business and government to continually provide safer, higher quality and more efficient care for patients and communities.
The policies adopted at this meeting not only give the AMA direction, but also act as a driving force on the future of American medicine.
The 2015 annual meeting of the AMA House of Delegates will be Saturday, June 6, to Wednesday, June 10, at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, 151 E. Wacker Drive, Chicago. For information, visit the website www.ama-assn.org/sub/meeting/index.html.
