McTeacher's Night at St. Charles McDonald's

On Wednesday, May 20, Davis Richmond School held an extremely successful McTeacher's Night at the McDonald's in St. Charles on Main Street.

The McDonald's was full of families supporting the schools and waiting to see Tommy Hawk from the Chicago Blackhawks.

Teachers took over the restaurant serving up delicious meals to students and families to raise money for the school. The McTeacher jobs included drive-thru teachers, greeters, teachers cleaning the lobby, front counter teachers, drink teachers, teachers clearing tables, and teachers serving ice cream. There were even teachers singing for tips.

McTeachers working included the following: Amy Kappele, Rosa Ascharya, Alison Schambach, Denise Liechty, Mary Katherine Kinney, Lynn Pittner, Andrea Therrien, Maria Reece, Connie Heitzman, Sandy Jefferson, Joanna Duensing, Irma Dominguez, Kerri Ganshert, Jenni Iwanski, Janette Ray, Colleen Crous, Jessica Levasseur, Megan Oster, Taryn Raiman, Sarah Aliano, Connie Unger, Kelly Skowronski, Kelly Zimmermann, Alison Winter, Marybeth Fiden, Jamie Breseman, Meghan Madigan, Pasie Gregory, Jennifer Luebke, Molly Schoeler and A. Dixon.

Davis and Richmond McTeachers had it all covered, and the families all had a great time.

The school plans to use the money raised to go into the PTO fund to support future programming. Lots of students, teachers, families and friends came out to support the school. All the kids came to see their teachers work at the St. Charles McDonald's.

A special appearance by the Chicago Blackhawks Tommy Hawk and Ronald McDonald made this a very memorable evening. Special thank you goes to PTO president Thadd Anderson, who organized the entire event. It was a great night! McTeacher's Night was courtesy of the St. Charles McDonald's owner/operators, the Lardas family.
