Aurora man shot, killed on city's west side

A 24-year-old Aurora man was shot and killed late Thursday night at an apartment complex on the city's west side, authorities said Friday.

Police said Davarius D. Reese, of the 1200 block of North Glen Circle, was found about 11:40 p.m. with a gunshot wound to the head on the front porch of an apartment on the 1300 block of Monomoy Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said they have few clues and no descriptions of any potential suspects. They said the apartment where Reese was found is where one of his acquaintances lives.
