Bond set for Naperville man charged with child porn possession

Bond has been set at $300,000 for a 26-year-old Naperville man charged with four counts of possession of child pornography, authorities said Friday.

Naperville police said they executed a search warrant on Thursday at Lafayette Riley's residence on the 700 block of Inland Circle after receiving several cyber tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The organization first contacted police in mid-April about the possible storage of images depicting child pornography on the Google Drive storage cloud, prosecutors said.

Authorities said Riley was taken into custody after they found numerous images of child pornography on his computer.

Prosecutors also said he was found to be in possession of numerous pairs of girls' underwear he took from the laundry room in his apartment complex.

The investigation is ongoing, police said, and anyone with information is asked to call Naperville police.

Riley is due in court June 15.
