Metea Valley 8, Bartlett 3: Metea Valley (19-11, 13-10) scored 4 runs in the bottom of the fifth to break open a 3-2 game, and the Mustangs added another run in the sixth to prevail in the Upstate Eight Valley. Brandon Kendall allowed 3 runs (1 earned) on 1 hit, walked 5 and struck out a pair in 4 innings, and Myles Zilinsky accounted for 2 of the 5 hits for Bartlett (15-16, 12-11).

St. Charles North 7, Elgin 5: The visiting Maroons scored 4 runs in the top of the sixth to forge a 5-5 tie, but the UEC River champion North Stars scored twice in the bottom half on an error and a double steal of home plate. Jacob Schilz got the win in relief for St. Charles North (28-4, 22-3). Reliever Eddy Ramos took the loss for Elgin (8-25, 4-20).

South Elgin 13, East Aurora 0 (5 inn.): Austin Sayre yielded only 1 hit in 5 innings to lead the Storm to their seventh straight win. Nick Menken doubled twice and drove in 3 runs, Dan Asa went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI and Antonio Danesi and Max Keough contributed 2 hits apiece in this Upstate Eight Valley win for South Elgin (19-7, 16-7).
