Lake Zurich's softball team rallied for 3 runs in the top of the seventh inning to beat Mundelein 8-7 in a North Suburban Lake Division finale Tuesday.

Sarah Schnecker went 2-for-3 with 2 doubles and an RBI for the Bears. Amanda Guercio was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI, and Melissa Goldberg contributed a double and 2 RBI.

Aine Mattera pitched 1⅓ innings for the win.

Mundelein (25-8, 8-4) received 2 hits apiece from Maddie Zazas (2 RBI), Maria DeVito, Amanda Diaz and Jordyn West. Diaz, West, Kaitlyn Griffin and Karlee Busscher all doubled.

Grant 7, Vernon Hills 4: Becca Wold finished 3-for-4, as the Bulldogs won the North Suburban Prairie finale.

Grant received 2 hits apiece from Hannah McCall and Sarah Ayala. Erin Bengston and Kenzie Sancken (2 RBI) doubled.

Sami Saliba had a double for Vernon Hills.

McHenry 7, Grayslake Central 3: Reagen Radke was 2-for-4 with a triple for Grayslake Central (14-20, 5-8) in the Fox Valley Fox game.
