Hear reflections on Huntley schools at historical society program

The Huntley Historical Society invites residents, teachers, and administrators to the program, "Reflections on Attending School and Working in Huntley's School System," at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, at the Cosman Center, 12015 Mill St.

This month, they will share in the memories of the Swanson sisters as well as Vi Williams about attending school in Huntley, teaching in Huntley Unit District 158, and working in the system.

One of the Swanson siblings, Lonni Oldham, recently retired from District 158 and is back working on a part-time basis. The oral histories, which will be video taped, will be conducted by Jake Marino.

This program is offered to the public with no charge.
