Honor Flight fundraiser at Culver's

Culver's restaurants in Antioch and Zion will be among those participating in a fundraiser Tuesday to benefit Lake County Honor Flight. The stores at 451 E. Route 173, Antioch, and 3335 Sheridan Road in Zion, are among 160 stores nationally that will donate 10 percent of sales to the local nonprofit organization. Honor Flight was created to take veterans to Washington D.C., to visit their war memorials. Lake County Honor Flight was created as a hub in 2012 and the past two years has taken 36 veterans who have served in Vietnam, Korea or World War II on three trips to Washington. There are 133 Honor Flight hubs across the U.S. Culver's hours in Antioch are 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. in Zion.
