Images: The Chicago Blackhawks lose 4-1 in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals

The Chicago Blackhawks battled the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday at Anaheim, Calif. in the first game of Western Conference finals. The Blackhawks lost the game 4-1.

In the second period, Blackhawks Brad Richards stole the puck and scored beating Anaheim goalie Frederik Andersen.

Blackhawks goalie Corey Crawford faced 26 shots and saved 23.

Ducks goalie Frederik Andersen stopped the first 23 shots he saw and ended up with 32 saves.

Patrick Kane, who was riding a seven-game points streak, had two golden opportunities to score and was thwarted each time.
