Who is really party of the rich?

Who is really party of the rich?

We have been hearing and reading stories about the wealthy buying up prime areas of San Francisco and New York and pushing longtime residents, middle class residents if you will out of areas they grew up in and now cannot afford.

Well, the same thing is happening in the Wrigleyville neighborhood of the Lake View District of the city. Last check showed over 33 sold homes ranging from $1.1 million to $6 million and 36 actives from $1.2 million to $11 million. They are tearing down $700,000 dollar homes to build $1.2 million plus homes.

Now I am all for gentrification as it helps the job situation and improves the city. However, no affordable houses being built in this liberal democrat city for the middle class people? I find it interesting that in the cities mentioned above and the city of Chicago all highly liberal meccas of the country are in the process of pricing out the middle class in prime areas of the city in favor of the rich. Hmm, and who is the party of the rich? Seems that may be debatable.
