Jacob Manning had an RBI double and Trey Schramm drove in a run as Hampshire's baseball team notched a 2-0 Fox Valley Conference Fox Division win over Woodstock North on Saturday.

Noah Schrader also had a double for the Whip-Purs (16-13, 7-11).

Michael Kruse picked up the win on the mound, going 6 innings and allowing just 3 hits with 7 strikeouts and a walk. Carter Lawler and Austin Luchtman came on in the seventh to close out the Thunder.

Byron 5, Westminster Christian 3: Peter Hahn and Justin Rasmussen drove in runs for the Warriors (15-18-1) in this nonconference loss. Rasmussen also took the loss on the mound, going 4 innings and allowing 6 hits with 2 strikeouts and no walks.

Hononegah 3, Huntley 0: Despite outhitting Hononegah 4-2, the Red Raiders couldn't push any runs across in this nonconference loss. Brandon Meyer had a double for Huntley (7-23) and Brandon Altergott suffered the loss on the mound.
