Thousands JustPlay! in Carol Stream
It's not every day you can stroll into a single park and try out iceless skating and a driving simulator, practice your golf and field goal kicking, participate in a free-throw contest and home-run derby, or try your luck at human Foosball.
But that was exactly what participants were able to do Saturday when Carol Stream Park District sponsored its daylong JustPlay! event at Ross Ferraro Town Center.
The celebration is the park district's largest annual event, attracting between 4,000 and 6,000 people and requiring between 40 and 60 volunteers.
