Midtown Athletic Club's 'Tennis in No Time' Kicks Off June 6

The top tennis players in the world might train for 60 hours a week to get their games in shape, but not everyone can follow this lead. Fortunately, Midtown Athletic Clubs in Palatine, Bannockburn and Willowbrook have the world's only patented tennis teaching program for adults that transform beginners into players in just three short weeks.

The program-called Tennis in No Time-has developed more than 100,000 beginners since its inception in 1972, offers a variety of convenient lesson times and the club will even lend you a racquet.

All three clubs will offer its three-week session of Tennis in No Time, starting with a program orientation on June 3 and classes beginning June 6. Each session is comprised of six 90-minute lessons-two per week-where participants learn the basics of tennis including the serve, forehand, backhand and net play for singles and doubles.

Cost is just $99 and club membership is NOT required. Cost includes orientation session, a Cardio Tennis Party, Tennis Mixer, and full Midtown Athletic Club member privileges, including use of all health and fitness facilities and equipment during the program.

Making the program unique are the four different types of balls used as the players progress in their skills.

"Tennis in No Time is the best way for a beginner to learn to play tennis," explains Zane Fulton, Director of Tennis at Midtown Palatine. "What surprises all students is just how quickly they're able to learn the game. Beginners become players in just three short weeks."
