Sign up now for Little Angels Pledge Run May 17

It's time to rev up your engines and get ready to ride in the 28th annual Little Angels Pledge Run at 8 a.m. Sunday, May 17, in Woodstock.

Jump on your bike and roar through 80 miles of rolling countryside in Northern Illinois. After the ride, come back to Woodstock Harley-Davidson's new location and join them for the party. There will be grilled burgers and brats, beer, soda, games and live music by Rumor Hazit.

Enter the raffle for a chance to win a 2015 Ultra Classic Electra Glide Ultra Classic or 2015 Triumph Daytona 675R or $10,000 in cash. Raffle tickets are $10 and available at www.lapledgerun.com.

Sponsored by Elgin Area Organization of Motorcycle Riders, in partnership with Woodstock Harley-Davidson, this Pledge Run has become an annual event for the benefit of Little Angels, a residential home for children and young adults with severe disabilities.

The Pledge Run is Little Angels' largest yearly fundraiser, and 100 percent of money pledged benefits the residents of Little Angels and the Cathy Freeman Center for Developmental Training.

Gates open at 9 a.m. on the day of the ride at Woodstock Harley Davidson's new location, 2235 S. Eastwood Drive in Woodstock. The first bike leaves at 10:30 a.m., with the party begins at 11:30 a.m.

All makes and models of motorcycles are welcome. Register online through May 16 for $30 per rider at www.lapledgerun.com. Or register for $30 per rider at the door.
