St. Charles library presents 'Great Presidential Decisions'

The St. Charles Public Library will present "Great Presidential Decisions" at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 21, in the Carnegie Community Room, 1 S. Sixth Ave.

Professor Gary Midkiff will discuss some of the most momentous decisions made by the president of the United States - some good, some bad, and all important. Midkiff will take a look behind the scenes at executive branch decisions that have shaped our country.

Midkiff is a college professor who teaches MBA and undergraduate courses at 10 different colleges and universities in the area. He specializes in the U.S. Civil War, the American Presidency and our foreign wars, and became interested in the Civil War while stationed at the Pentagon during the Vietnam War era.
