First Congregational Church of Dundee invites families to "Everest VBS: Conquering Challenges With God's Mighty Power!" The icy expedition to "Everest" begins on Monday, June 15 and continues through Friday, June 19 from 9 a.m. until noon.
"Everest" is a trek to the summit that empowers kids to discover what it means to hold on to God's mighty power in everyday life. Children join together in small groups, called "Climbing Crews," and participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and dig into tasty mountaintop treats, experience cool Bible adventures, collect "Bible Memory Buddies" to remind them of God's love and test out "Sciency-Fun Gizmos" they'll take home and play with all summer long. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called "God Sightings" and they will discover that God is active in their lives and that His fingerprints are everywhere!
Each day concludes with a "Summit Celebration" that gets everyone involved in living what they have learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join in daily for this exploration of God's mighty power.
Vacation Bible school is for children, age 4 through entering fifth grade.
Cost is $35 per child, with a family maximum of $80. Each preregistered child will receive an Everest T-shirt and one CD of the songs will be given to each preregistered family. Be sure to dress your child for the weather in play clothes and safe shoes as some activities will take place outdoors and everything is hands-on - kids might get a little messy.

Once we have received your payment (drop by the church or mail it in), they will make sure you receive the music CD so your kids can start learning all the songs!
