CL South 6, Huntley 3: Matthew Schingel went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI and Nick Van Witzenburg had 2 doubles to lead the Gators (18-4, 4-1) to a Fox Valley Conference Valley Division win. Garrett Bright also drove in a run for Crystal Lake South, which benefitted from 4 Huntley errors. Noah Konie drove in 2 runs for the Red Raiders (7-16, 0-3) and Matt Blain had a double. Ryan Wilkening scattered 5 hits with 4 strikeouts and 2 walks to earn the win while Brandon Altergott took the loss.

Cary-Grove 3, McHenry 1: Connor Leach went 2-for-3 and Tyler Pennington had a double as Cary-Grove (14-6-2, 1-0) won this FVC Valley matchup. Wyatt Mascarella, Mark Smith and Zach Forney each had RBI for the Trojans. Larkin Hanselmann struck out 13, walked 3 and allowed 5 hits to earn the complete-game win.
