• Prospect won all five of its matches in the Libertyville tournament on Saturday to win the championship.

It took a pair of three-set wins over Lake Forest to get the job done.

The Knights topped the Scouts 25-23, 26-27, 15-8 in pool play before meeting Lake Forest for the title and prevailing 17-25, 25-16, 15-10.

Eryk Krzyzak (41 kills), Alex Blethen (37), Kendrick Taves (33) and Matt Bohnen (16) were the biggest hitters for Prospect, and Kyle Gerber amassed 128 assists along with 25 digs.

Krzyzak led Prospect with 59 digs and Liam Benson had 43. Krzyzak also served a team-best 11 aces.

• Hersey won the tournament it hosted, finishing 5-0 and topping Glenbrook South 25-17 25-13 in the championship match.

Bart Migus (46 kills, 8 blocks) and Angelo Coniglio (27 kills, 10 blocks) set the tone for Hersey, who improved to 18-3 overall.

St. Viator finished third in the tournament.
