FREE Shredding Day - Hosted by Palatine Lions Club and Palatine Township

Palatine Lions Club and Palatine Township are teaming up once again to provide Township residents with an opportunity to shred their documents. Each household may bring five boxes of paper to be shredded. Please bring your documents in either a cardboard box or paper bags. You don't have to remove paper clips or staples, but please do remove any heavy duty binder clips.

All traffic will need to enter from the Illinois Avenue entrance and exit onto Quentin Road. Help will be provided to unload your car.

Shredding will be provided by Accurate Document Destruction, Inc. There will have two Super Trucks. Each truck can shred about 4,000 pound per hour. The shredded paper will be recycled directly to paper mills.

Palatine Township will receive and post a "Certificate of Destruction" on their web site subsequent to the shredding event.
