Lane closures on Route 41
Lane reductions and closures will occur along Route 41 in Gurnee and Wadsworth for a resurfacing project beginning Monday, May 4, weather permitting, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation.
The northbound and southbound directions of Route 41 will be reduced to one lane in each direction, with nightly lane closures between Route 21 and I-94. During the daytime hours, shoulder closures will be utilized at various locations throughout the duration of the project. The project will be complete by the end of November.
