Free Event Featuring Various Mental Health Agencies

Hoffman Estates, IL - April 30, 2015 - The Schaumburg Township Mental Health Committee and Township Board of Trustees are hosting their third annual Mental Health Awareness Fair Tuesday, May 5, from 3-6 p.m., at Schaumburg Township, 1 Illinois Blvd., in Hoffman Estates. Admission is free and open to the public.

Connect with over 19 community agencies to learn about individual mental health and safety. There will be three presentations; "Supportive Housing and Related Legislative Issues" by the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), "Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Traumatic Brain Injuries" by a clinical psychologist and "Childhood Depression" by Kenneth Young Center. Refreshments provided and raffle prizes from the Mental Health Committee and agencies. We look forward to you joining us for our annual day in celebrating your health!
