Molto Properties begins construction, leasing of Bolingbrook property

BOLINGBROOK - Molto Properties is unveiling plans for 1055 Remington Boulevard in Bolingbrook, a 116,000-square-foot speculative industrial property commencing construction this spring.

Additionally, they have started preleasing activity for nearly half of the building prior to construction start.

Baldor Chicago Inc., represented by Dan Smolensky of the Modal group, has signed a lease for 57,220 square feet at 1055 Remington. Jim Estus, SIOR, a principal with Colliers International, represented owner Molto Properties. The new facility will allow Baldor to experience more functional space, increase the firm's visibility and image and provide ample parking for employees, visitors and customers.

"We are excited to add Baldor Chicago to our growing tenant base and want to thank Jim Rohder of Baldor for the opportunity to construct his new place of business," said Todd Naccarato, founder and senior principal of Oakbrook Terrace-based Molto Properties. "We would also like to thank both Dan Smolensky of the Modal Group and Jim Estus of Colliers for their invaluable assistance in this transaction. The preleasing activity is strong evidence of the strength of the I-55 Corridor."

Krusinski Construction Co., general contractor for the project, is set to start construction this spring for the high-profile building at Remington Boulevard and Veterans Parkway. Baldor Chicago will take occupancy upon completion by year-end.

This is Molto's second speculative development project where the team has successfully pre-leased half or more of the facility prior to construction completion.
