Streamwood fire causes $100,000 in damage

The Streamwood Fire Department was called just after noon Monday about a fire in the attached garage of a home on the 100 block of Hastings Mill Road. Former Kane County Board member dies

No matter the problem, Lee Barrett always was there to help, family and friends say of the former Kane County Board member. The 77-year-old from East Dundee died Saturday at Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin.
