Lakes 5, Lake Forest 4: Lakes scored its winning run in the bottom of the sixth inning to get the win over Lake Forest, which committed 5 errors. Cody Nuxoll led Lakes (11-5-1) with 3 hits while Matt Nordlund added 2 hits. Pitcher Bill Morris got the win. He allowed only 1 hit in four innings.

Grayslake Central 9, Crystal Lake Central 5: Visiting Grayslake Central jumped out to a 4-0 lead and starting pitcher Sam Ruhlman made sure that lead held. Ruhlman picked up his fourth win of the season in tossing 4 2/3 innings. Offensively, David Llorens paced an 11-hit attack for Grayslake Central with 3 hits, including a double. Griffin Shepley added 2 hits, including a double.

New Trier 1, Libertyville 0: New Trier got its only run in the first inning in this defensive struggle. Libertyville out-hit New Trier 3-2 with hits from Jake Vogt, Ben Manski and Nick Rossetti.

Richmond-Burton 5, Wauconda 4: Joe Schear and Kevin Malisheski each had doubles for Wauconda (8-8), which had 3 errors and saw Richmond-Burton score 2 runs in the top of the sixth.

Cary-Grove 11, Grayslake North 0: Grayslake North was down 5-0 after two innings. Cary-Grove out-hit the Knights, 13-3.
