Girl Scouts to host multi-generational reunion

Are you part of a family with many generations of Girl Scouts? No matter how you were involved in Girl Scouts - Brownie for a year, Girl Scout Gold Award, Curved Bar, First-Class, or Golden Eaglet recipient, past or current troop leader - you're part of a 59-million strong network of Girl Scout alumnae! Join Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois for "Together Again," a free multigenerational event, from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at State Bank of the Lakes, 1906 Holian Drive in Spring Grove.

The free event will include a photo booth for multiple generations of Girl Scouts, hands-on activities for girls and adults, and a S.W.A.P.S. (Special Whatchamacallits Affectionately Pinned Somewhere) table.

There also will be a prize for the group attending with the most generations of Girl Scouts. Guests will enjoy diving into Girl Scouts' fascinating history over the past 103 years while enjoying free refreshments. This is the perfect event for women of all ages who want to reconnect with old Girl Scout friends and make new ones!
