Family expo and taste
The 5th annual Spring Multi-Chamber Extreme Block Party Family Expo & Taste will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 25, indoors at Vernon Hills High School Fieldhouse, 145 Lakeview Parkway, Vernon Hills. Features include many local vendors from home improvement, health/wellness, fitness, automotive, financial/insurance, entertainment venues, community groups and others, as well as free food and entertainment. Activities include a reptile show at noon, mini-golf area from 1 to 3 p.m., and an appearance by meteorologist Mike Caplan.
