Job fair for military veterans

More than 60 potential employers and veterans community resources representatives are scheduled to attend a job fair, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Thursday, April 23, at the Forrestal Community Center, 2007 Virginia Ave., North Chicago. Co-sponsored by the Lovell Federal Health Care Center's Vocational Rehabilitation Unit, the event is open to active duty military members, veterans, military retirees, reservists, eligible family members and Department of Defense employees. Other sponsors are Naval Station Great Lakes Fleet and Family Support Center's Transition Assistance and Family Readiness Programs. Jobseekers must have military or family member identification cards or IDs from the Department of Defense or Department of Veterans Affairs. Proof of honorable discharge also accepted. No children.
