Lockdown at Wauconda school

Robert Crown Elementary School in Wauconda was locked down about 11 a.m. Monday, after a student reported seeing a gun on campus, authorities said. Police and school administrators investigated and determined the claim was unfounded, Police Chief Patrick Yost said. Students and employees were allowed to resume their regular duties at 11:30 a.m.
