Take an Earth Day hike in St. Charles preserve

Join naturalists from the Forest Preserve District of Kane County on a guided Earth Day hike through LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve in St. Charles.

All are invited to come along from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, to explore the woods and prairie, and look for wildlife and wildflowers. There will be hands-on activities and stories along the trail.

The Earth Day hike is family-friendly and open to all ages. Although the program is free, advance registration is required. Call (630) 444-3190 or email programs@kaneforest.com to register.

LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve is at 37W700 Dean St., west of Randall Road. Meet at the Creek Bend Nature Center.
