Symposium to showcase best work at Judson

The third annual Judson University Student Research Symposium will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, April 20, in the Eagle Lounge in the college's Lindner Tower, 1151 N. State St., Elgin.

Organized by The Honors Program and sponsored by the Office of Academic Affairs, the symposium is a program of student presentations across disciplines, showcasing both the depth and breadth of the best work being done at Judson.

"This is an opportunity for the Judson community to celebrate and to showcase some of our best work over the course of the past year," says Craig Kaplowitz, director of The Honors Program. "This is a university-wide event that brings in all of the schools and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and it provides our students with some great experience both with presenting their work to an interested audience and also answering questions and discussing their work in response to thoughtful questions."

Student presentations will be organized around an invitation-only lunch for the participants, the sponsoring faculty, and guests.
