214@100: BGHS modernizes its school spirit

In celebration of District 214's 100th anniversary, Buffalo Grove High School has been emphasizing Bison pride even more than in years past. This year has brought many changes to the school, including a new principal and associate principal and a new school hashtag: #OneBG. Anyone who looks up the hashtag on Twitter will find pictures and tweets that show off Bison spirit. The hashtag is a way for students and staff to unite in a modern and easy way. Tweets under the hashtag can include anything from sports updates to showing off funny photos to showcasing proud Bison moments. Every year seems to bring a variety of phrases, such as the popular "Back those Bison" and the more recent "Fight on!" One can guess that #OneBG will remain among the favorites.
