No link between brutality, opportunity

I read this article recently with the comment from a 21-year-old Wendy's worker. He says the police brutality black men face is linked to the lack of opportunity they're given. What? Opportunity should be sought not expected to be given.

This mentality is a sickness among the protesters. If you don't like the opportunity that you have working at Wendy's then search for another one. The marketplace has an opportunity for your skill level.

If you feel your skills are more valuable, go find a job or start a business where you are paid according to your expected value.

Wendy's is paying what they have determined appropriate to run a profitable business.

I don't see any connection between police brutality black men face and the protests by fast food workers. Police brutality is a police issue and seeking an income to satisfy your needs and desires is one's own issue.

America is still the land of opportunity. Go seek it and pursue your happiness but don't expect it to fall in your lap.
