Senese scores twice in Metea Valley victory

Metea Valley 3, Lincoln-Way North 1:

Sophia Senese scored the first two goals of the game, and Jade Eriksen-Russo added an insurance goal for Metea Valley (6-3-3), all in the second half for the nonconference victory at Lincoln-Way North. Alena Sidwell and Megan Morris each had an assist.

Naperville Central 5, Mother McAuley 0:

Kirsten Dorgan, Allison Kincaide, McKenzie Sisko, Madison Redeker and Kayla Burke each scored a goal for the Redhawks in Naperville. Sisko added an assist for Naperville Central (7-1-1) in the nonconference match.

Plainfield North 1, Wheaton North 1:

Plainfield North won the game in penalty kicks. Zoe Welsh had 5 saves for the Falcons, and Lexi Pelafas scored the goal.

Wheaton Academy 5, Plainfield East 1:

Sophomore Gretchen Pearson and Kate Lindsay each scored twice and Erin Teevans added the fifth goal for Wheaton Academy (5-2). Pearson, Teevans and Johanna Pendley added an assist apiece. Liana Ledesma earned the shutout in goal.

Downers Grove North 2, Plainfield South 0:

Freshman Francesca Marconi and sophomore Delany Forst each scored for the Trojans (5-3).
