Believe Project: $100 for cousin whose daughter died

Today's winner of a $100 bill through the Believe Project is Carol Peterson of Elgin.

Here is an excerpt of her suggestion:

"I would give the $100 to my cousin Fran. Her daughter who was battling cancer was struck by a car and seriously injured. Numerous trips were made to the hospitals to be with her daughter. Unfortunately, a week before Easter her daughter died. Maybe this money could be used for food when they have a memorial service in the near future."

• The Believe Project mails a $100 bill each day to someone with a good idea for how to use it to do a good deed for someone else. However, all of the money collected has been committed and we no longer are accepting submissions.
